About

RECONNECT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Cliff Divine, dedicated to physically reconnecting as many people as possible, across all borders, through Laughter, Oneness, and Love.
At the core of this mission is Reconnectivism, a philosophy designed to spark a powerful, transformational ascension that reconnects individuals with themselves, others, and the life source.

Born in 2016, the original Connect movement for Peace and Unity was co-founded by Cliff Divine and Manuel Frederick. It mobilized tens of thousands, especially children, across Europe, numerous countries, and all 50 U.S. states through universities, schools, churches and communities. One of its earliest champions was Euzhan Palcy, a groundbreaking filmmaker and activist, who accepted the role of Godmother of the Connect movement in its founding years.

As waves of terror shook the world after the 2016 Paris attacks at the Bataclan, Cliff and Manuel felt urgent necessity for immediate worldwide unity. Despite limited resources, within two and a half years they had appeared on 33 top news stations including major networks such as NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, KTLA across all 50 states and earned support from major figures and institutions.
When the original Connect movement ended in 2024, Cliff answered a renewed call: to evolve it into RECONNECT, grounded in deeper intention and broader reach.

During the global pandemic (2019–2022), as countless people experienced disconnection and isolation, Cliff felt compelled to bring people back together physically.
His uncle, Gerard Gesina, who taught him drums and storytelling in childhood, passed away from COVID-19, deepening Cliff’s sense of urgency. Around the same time, his meditation teacher Sibongile West, a long-time Transcendental Meditation teacher, reinforced his focus on healing, concluding their sessions with: Love and Laughter, that is what the world needs most.” Her passing in 2022 only strengthened Cliff’s resolve.

Cliff knows hardship firsthand, but he has chosen to rise above it. His vision is guided by the belief that healed people heal people. Today, leading RECONNECT with a global team, he remains dedicated to expanding into all Seven Continents, spreading the principles of Laughter, Oneness, and Love to heal, unite, and uplift humanity one palm-to-palm moment at a time.

His talent emerged early: by age 12, he was composing original pieces, and by 15, he was arranging and creating songs for his schoolmates' pop-rock bands. His musical influences are diverse, spanning Chick Corea, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, David Bowie, Earth, Wind & Fire, Air, and Goldfrapp, just to name a few.

Franck's passion for film soundtracks is deeply influenced by legends such as Ennio Morricone, Francis Lai, and François de Roubaix. Over the years, he has collaborated with various artists and crafted scores for commercials, short films, and documentaries. This journey led to a friendship and creative partnership with Cliff Divine, for whom Franck has provided music and sound design for his short films, TV Series and upcoming projects including for the Connect and Reconnect movements.

When Cliff Divine co-founded the Connect movement promoting peace and unity, Franck was entrusted with composing the Connect movement's anthem appraised across the 50 states and used by prominent news networks such as NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, KTLA. His musical talent was also praised by Academy Award-winning director and trailblazer filmmaker Euzhan Palcy, who also invited Franck to score her showreel about her film career: The Black Pioneer.

Artistic serendipity struck when Franck met Swedish-French artist Hanna Hägglund. Their connection led to the formation of the electro pop band The Pink Crows. The band's distinctive sound quickly caught attention: Chicago-based director Ky Dickens commissioned Franck to compose the soundtrack for his feature-length documentary Sole Survivor, which was later acquired by CNN.

Franck continued his film work with the French movie Tic Tac, directed by Wadi Laadam. Additionally, renowned mash-up filmmaker Antonio Maria Da Silva featured multiple tracks by The Pink Crows in his film Ashes & Blood. The film has been showcased at numerous festivals, earning six awards for Best Movie Soundtrack.
